We have been blessed with some fantastic volunteers and will be adding to our volunteer family throughout the Spring. This year some of our volunteers were Awarded for their commitment to helping in their community here at the Clarington Museums.

Susan Laing – Who received the Lifetime Achievement Award – 2014 Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Award on February 27 2015.

>> Ms. Laing has contributed a considerable amount of work and volunteer time over the last 33 years to the Clarington Museums. She has supported many activities and workshops, served on the board, and raised funds for room restorations, the purchase of important artifacts, the restoration and repair of parts of the collection, and the creation of a beautiful garden.
