Exhibits help to tell the stories behind certain events, people and artefacts in our history. They enable the Museum to make history accessible to everyone.
Clarington Museums and Archives offer a variety of exhibits at all three of our sites. Permanent installations, both indoor and out, temporary special displays, and traveling exhibits from other institutions can be seen throughout the year.

Clarington Remembers: Stories from WWI and WWII
The exhibit Clarington Remembers is now a permanent rotating exhibit at the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre. We tell the stories of Clarington’s people who served in the war and of those who were left at home. Learn about local heroes, check out our Wartime Kitchen to learn about rations and victory gardens and be sure to see the artifacts from Camp 30 where German POW’s were held during the war, and more.
Admission is By Donation or FREE thanks to the generous support from Hydro One!
